Golden Gate Jumpers

The makers of wild life films are often accused of callous indifference as they film the hunter closing in on its prey or make no attempt to rescue a sick animal. What I wonder will audiences make of Eric Steel’s documentary film “The Bridge” which deals with the suicides committed off San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, the most “popular” location in the world for suicides. Will it be viewed as tasteless voyeurism or will it force people to address issues such as mental illness and bring about benefit in the long term?
