Friends paid their last disrespects to angry Bosnian faker

The slightly more morbid among us may have considered what things would be like at our own funerals - and one Bosnian man was so motivated by this curiosity that he faked his own death. He then proceded to send funeral invitations to no less than 45 of his friends, and hid in the bushes whilst the ceremony took place - only to find that not a single one of them had turned up! In fact, the only person there was his elderly mother. Enraged, the man sent another batch of 45 letters to his friends, reading:
“I paid a lot of money to get a fake death certificate and bribe undertakers to deliver an empty coffin … I really thought a lot more of you, my so-called friends, would turn up to pay their last respects. It just goes to show who you can really count on.”
Poor guy!
